The challenge was to create an experience that honored the risks artists take in defending freedom of expression, while showcasing their work and creating a platform for dialogue and engagement as part of Art Basel Miami Beach.

SOLUTION
Doors to Freedom is a series of sculptures that reimagines the architecture of imprisonment as a framework for visibility and resistance. Structures inspired by spaces of confinement are transformed into surfaces that elevate the artists’ work, turning symbols of repression into spaces for connection and conversation.
