CHALLENGE

CHALLENGE

Over three decades, NYID had built an extensive archive of exhibitions, performances, and public artworks, yet its website had remained largely unchanged. Outdated technology, text-heavy content, and a complex navigation structure made the archive difficult to maintain and even harder to explore. The challenge was to create a contemporary digital experience that made its work more accessible.

SOLUTION

SOLUTION

We refreshed NYID's visual identity and designed an archival website centered on imagery and video. A simplified information architecture and flexible CMS made more than three decades of work easier to discover while enabling the team to continuously expand the archive. The result is a digital platform that preserves NYID's legacy while supporting its future practice.
